DUNDALK BAY BREWERY
The Dundalk Bay Brewery was a short side project, which I allocated myself a week to complete then an extended week to amend, in order to prioritise my final majors. The reason I took this extra brief is because I have a keen interest in branding and rebranding, and thought it would be a good opportunity to do a project I would enjoy whilst showing of my skills in the area.
The brief was to create a logo for Dundalk bay brewery and a label for their Brewmaster brand. Dundalk Bay Brewery specified they wish the logo and label to come across as a high quality brand as they mentioned they wish the brand to be perceived as traditional, and to consider using colours like gold or visual reference to beer related iconography.

Hegarty's Home Interiors
Hegartys shop front project was a design only project I was tasked with at Marcalla. Hegartys are a home interiors furniture store at the heart of a community. They are a family run business operating since 1946 supplying their products and services nationally.
Hegartys came to me with the idea of modernising there shop front. They are a company not afraid of change well in tune with a fast growing and ever changing industry. This was clear to me when the team conveyed their vision. I understood the importance of modernisation without losing their identity.
With this understanding I was able to work with Hegartys in creating the below shop front. Over a few meetings and discussion we developed this concept which was then approved for manufacturing and installation. The new signage was received well by the community and customers.
I also designed the box van seen below. The van travels the length of the country so I gave them a graphic that stands out on the road and illustrates the style, class and quality of the products and services offered by Hegarty's.
